Pediatric Therapy for CP, developmental delay, and more

We are pleased to announce the addition of pediatric physical therapy to our clinic. A Plus Pediatric Therapy is now taking referrals. We offer over 9 years of experience in treating children of all ages with a broad range of diagnoses, from Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delay, Coordination Disorders, Sensory Disorders, Genetic Disorders, Prematurity, Hypertonia, Torticollis, Hydrocephalus, and Orthopedic concerns. Children can be seen in our clinic located inside All-Star Sports Arena in Springdale, AR or can often times at their home or day care if needed. We can offer a variety of services for your severely involved patients to the mildly involved ones. Our therapists are knowledgeable, professional, and family orientated. We offer equipment ordering and upkeep, casting for braces, as well as a comprehensiveevaluation for treatment. Medicaid and private insurances taken. Please give us a call if you have any questions. More on Pediatric Therapy

As pediatric physical therapists, our main goal is to give children the opportunity to become as functional as possible. There can be countless things hampering their development, but our overall goal does not change. We work toward improving gross motor skills, strength, coordination skills, balance, range of motion, transfer skills, gait patterns, etc. Therapy in pediatrics is very similar to all other rehab, outpatient, and acute therapy except we must take it a step further by making it a "game" for the children. Our work is carried out in the classroom, on the playground, with therapy balls, tricycles, in stairwells, on balance beams, on bolsters, using basketballs, jump ropes and anything else you can conceive of. When asked what I do for a living, I usually reply...play. For that is truly what functioning during childhood is all about.
